Unusual Painting Project

This unusual painting project was based on regular paintings, but the colors were crazy. We were supposed to draw something that reminds us about Indonesia, and after we were done with that, we had to paint it in with unusual colors. What I mean by unusual colors was that we couldn't paint the sky blue and the grass green. They had to be unusual, so the sky could be purple and the grass could be turquoise. This was a really cool project, and our paintings look amazing.

I really enjoyed this project, because we could just color anything any color and we didn't have to follow the coloring rules. I also enjoyed it, because its just fun sometimes to just color something random colors.

Rice Hat Project

A Rice Hat is a traditional Indonesian hat made out of straw. Instead of making our hat out of straw, we made it out of paper. There needed to be a lot of squiggles and curves on the hat. Once we were done drawing and painting the rice hat, we were also aloud to put on little sparkles and glitter. At the end of the project, our rice hats looked tremendous!!

I enjoyed this project, because we were aloud to use a lot of colors and when we put the glitter and the little sparkles on the rice hat, it looked amazing!!

Shield Project

The Shield Project is based on the shields that the Komoro tribe used to make during the old times. Since they didn't have paint at that time, the Komoro tribe made paints out of nature. When we were going to paint the shields, we were only allowed to use 4 colors. Those colors were Black, White, Yellow, and Red. They made these colors by using plants, fruits, etc.

I enjoyed this project, because you were allowed to express you self by drawing what you were scared of on the shield.
